[:de]Cindy und Alice sind Schwestern. Eine Familie an der Elfenbeinküste hatte sie wie kuriose Haustiere gehalten. Sie waren mit Bikinis bekleidet und mit einem Surfbrett ausgestattet worden. Aber irgendwann sind die beiden Schimpansen-Mädchen gewachsen und niemand wurde mehr ihrer Herr. Also schickte man sie nach Chimfunshi, wo sie nun artgerecht mit anderen Schimpansen leben dürfen. Cindy ist ungefähr 15 Jahre alt – ihre Schwester Alica ca. 14 Jahre.[:en]Cindy and Alice are sisters. A family from the Ivory Coast had them both as pets. They were given surfboards and dressed in bikinis. Fortunately the two chimpanzee sisters grew too strong for the family to handle. Once the family couldn’t manage them any more they decided to send them to CHIMFUNSHI where they could live a life similar to the one they are intended to live in nature with other chimps. Cindy is a very calm, peaceful character and is 15 years old.[:]
