Nicky

Bobby and Nicky lived in miserable conditions in Bangui, the Central African capital. Bobby was found chained to a post behind a restaurant, where he was kept as a tourist attraction. The chimpanzees were rescued by the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals), which pleaded for the animals’ release. After a three-day journey through Central and Eastern Africa, the two chimpanzees reached their new home at Chimfunshi, where they can finally live a more natural chimpanzee life.
