Assistant Marketing Manager

Chimfunshi is the oldest and largest Chimpanzee Orphanage in the world. It is situated in the North of Zambia on the Kafue River, 70 km from Chingola.

The Assistant Marketing Manager will be assisting the General Manager in the financial aspect and the day to day running of the trust. The manager must be living either at Chimfunshi or in Chingola, moving regularly to Chimfunshi.

He will be responsible for developing and maintaining fundraising strategies to meet Chimfunshi objectives. He should be able to plan and develop commercial activities around the orphanage, like daily tours, setting up a visitors lodge, running a souvenir shop. The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing Chimfunshi as an overseas tourist spot and developing new fund raising activities in Europe and USA.

Candidates for this position, should have extensive Marketing experience, and/or be passionate about wildlife and conservation. They should have work experience in a similar position.
